These are the books published so far. Since most of them are sold out, their reprints will be coming in the coming period, and their translated e-book versions will soon be available on Amazon and Appstore. For now, get to know them and see what they are about. If you click on the covers, you will be able to see excerpts of the texts. The books are also available in electronic form and can be found for free at  this link , and you can find the English translations here .

The free copies are intended to help you get acquainted with my books and, if possible, purchase or recommend a printed version to someone.

From Sheep to Stars (a collection of fantastic stories) and Hangrap and Drobhila, an ancient Hmyrian epic

Od ovaca do zvijezda

This collection is made up of stories from various genres of fantasy. There is science fiction and epic fantasy, as well as my personal favorite literary fantasy, that is, fantasy literature on the edge of the mainstream that was created by following my literary role models Stevenson, Bulgakov and Borges. Of course, none of this is serious, because by nature I am a person prone to frivolity and all kinds of pranks. The title story is a genre-wise humorous dystopia and deals with the problems of various aspects of the lives of two android shepherds in a post-apocalyptic world, and there is also a new, changed and somewhat shortened version of my first book Hangrap and Drobhila. The new version is somewhat adapted to modern civilization’s vagaries, so there is significantly less swearing, vulgarity and pronounced political incorrectness, which some will miss. A good part of it is written in verse and deals with the theme of a beautiful disembodied mountain fairy who is in an eternal search for a being who will not want her. That version also exists in the form of a radio drama series, which can be found on my Bandcamp,  and on YouTube.

Blondes for the Ignorant (travelogue)

Plavuše za neznalice

When a group of adventurers ventures to an erupting volcano or spends time among Amazonian Indians without anyone cutting off their heads, it’s already quite an undertaking. It’s not easy to get through countries where mustachioed and unshaven scoundrels wear stained undershirts, nor is it easy to encounter poisonous centipedes, uncooperative whales, and stunning cathedral martens. But all of that pales in comparison to the situation when the adventurers encounter a mystery unsolved since the dawn of humanity – blonde. This book is politically incorrect, which once upset a certain journalist, because she was bothered by the fact that its heroes only drink and do not discuss the burning issues of humanity, nor about bike paths and other obligatory characters of that modern variety. Prepare yourself for a journey across the ocean, encounters with unusual people and places, and a careful hedonistic reflection on the meaning of our existence. The book can be purchased, as the publisher says, in all better bookstores.

Junker’s and Vaillant against the forces of darkness (humorous fantasy)

Junker’s i Vailiant protiv sila tame

When two noble knights prone to all sorts of vices, with their brave army of worthless and worthless, set off to war against a deranged tyrant, a sensual, lustful witch, and a huge army of various villains, they need all the help they can get. A top-notch team has gathered: a beautiful warrior, an esoteric wizard, and a knight over three hundred and fifty million years old. They set off in search of an artifact, which they are not sure is not a colorful vessel, a philosophical thought, or a path in the leaves. And the villains are making progress, despite the fact that they have inserted a sweet old woman who talks about bacon into their ranks as a plot device. It won the Artefact Award for best novel of 2018.

Deadly Mizion and Other Stories (humorous science fiction)

Smrtonosna mizija

He is a neighborhood boy with a shady past and a strong penchant for filets, despite the fact that he is a dedicated vegan. But he also hides a pangalactic hero, who, in order to suck a damsel in distress, will bravely fight against space villains of unimaginable races and species. With a little help from the octogenarian, the fearless caterer will face the Infamous himself (although this is certainly a pure exaggeration), and his visions will lead him on a mission in which his friends and comrades will be the creatures he usually likes to eat. On the other hand, he is the kind of creature that his comrades consider a delicacy, but, aside from the filth, when you drink a little there are also songs and olives and stools. Not to mention the teasing and wild passion, the pleasures of the body and sensuality.

The Heroic Adventures of Junker’s and Vailiant (humorous fantasy)

Junačke zgode Junker’sa i Vailianta

This is a book about two knights who are no strangers to anything. They lean on women with full force and adoration, they drink as if they are always thirsty, and a joke comes at any moment. They are great warriors and there is no villain who would not tremble at the mere mention of their terrifying white armor. In their company is the unusual wizard Strange, as well as a whole host of top heroes and heroines, who are always ready for wine, orgies, adventures, fishing and preparing excellent game. Of course, and for fighting, because it was difficult to be non-violent in those ancient times. The book has also been translated into English and is available as an e-book on all major e-stores (Kindle, Apple books, Barnes & Noble, Nook, etc.)

Treasure of Gods (humorous fantasy)

Treasure of Gods

This is the first Croatian fantasy novel and has a pioneering, if not a youth function in domestic genre literature. It is about a small but not large group that bravely embarks on an adventure through all sorts of problems, searching for the sword of the god Volos, on which is engraved a code that can be used to communicate with artificial intelligences. Magic is also of great help, and even a small deer is not to be thrown away. Get to know the cultures of ancient Sebrah, Zvira and Zarah, as well as the events that for centuries were shrouded in the fog of mysterious concealment, known only to the initiated under the name “hiding”. It is not a very special name, and let it be. All the events mentioned were part of the history of an old culture, insufficiently known to readers, but also to scientists. Free e-version:

Treći nos (misterija)

Treći nos

The Third Nose is an action-packed mystical story set in several parallel Zagrebs and represents an eternal fight against evil, embodied in the figure of Barbara of Celje, better known as the Black Queen. The main characters possess unusual powers, which they were not even aware of at the beginning, and creatures that are not of this world will come to their aid. The search for the garden gnome will take the heroines to the dark regions of Zagreb’s criminal underworld, and the heroes will discover alternative versions of their hometown. And when the forces that rule the universe interfere in the whole story, no thing or person will be the same anymore, because, as we all know, things are rarely what they seem at first glance. The book has parallel plots and can be divided into a female and male version, which I will do when I learn how to do it, because for that the book needs to be turned into an interactive application, and I am not up to it yet.

Croatian Myths and Legends

Mitovi i legende

A book about Croatian mythology inspired by the earliest Croatian pre-Christian history and mythology. It is not a scientific work, but a collection of stories, which today would be called epic fantasy. Get to know the ancient gods, heroes and stories that will bring you closer to the ancient divine tribe of Svarožić, the evil god Črnbog (Črt) and the evil goddess Morana, as well as the fight of heroes and gods against the forces of evil. The stories are based on real legends and adapted to a more modern narrative, to get the desired Tolkien effect, all of whose books are inspired by Celtic mythology. Learn something about our ancient legends, which are not far behind the mythology of other peoples. It is interesting that the stories of various European peoples are quite similar, so that the Christian story of Saint George, who saves a fairy maiden from a dragon, is almost identical to the earlier story of Svantevid, who saves Zora, the goddess of dawn, from the aforementioned dragon.

Hangrap and Drobhila – an ancient Hmyrian epic (fantastic humor)

This is my first book and people say it’s pretty hot. It’s written in verse and scientific footnotes, and it deals with the fate of a mountain fairy who goes to the underworld to free herself from the curse of incorporeality and dedicates herself to serious sex, even debauchery, and abounds in various levels of sensuality, from sublime love to explicit vulgarity, so I don’t recommend it to people prone to finesse and political correctness. However, the curse tells her that she must find someone who will resist her charms, and that is not easy to find in this world or the next. Read what poor Drobhila will have to go through in search of a body of flesh and blood. The least we can say is that she will be kidnapped by smugglers with tallow and grease. The least. Hangrap and Drobhila has undergone a “face lift” after all these years and is my second book that has been turned into an audio drama series.
