When we say Rage Against The Machine, we always wonder what that machine is and who’s driving it. The machine I clashed with was Amazon, and we all know who runs Amazon. But how did I beat the evil machine, at least a little? With another machine.

Funny thing is, I actually managed to get my books out of Amazon’s KDP Select program. Amazon imposes 90 days of exclusivity for as long as you’re enrolled in that program (which honestly gives you nothing back), and during that time your books can’t be published anywhere else. Claude walked me through a maze of bots and settings until I finally reached the point where I could send an email to an actual human being. Claude even wrote that letter for me, and my books are already free now.

I would never have known how to do that myself, and neither would any of the anti-AI guys out there. But they don’t know that. Ignorance is bliss. It is not the bow and arrow that hit the target, but the archer.
